Depends how bad but I go in anyway.
Yes i bring down the rest of the office by spreading it but your company counts how many sick days you take, they dont care and when it comes to lay offs you go first.
Like my wife lost her job last year because she was taking 3 days off every month for her menstrual cycle. Anyway she wouldn't be told but they were able to simply work out 3days×12months= 36 days off per year, which is well over a month she missed every year on top of her holidays since she started last year.
I at least would go in for a little while and maybe end up taking off early if everything's going ok and someone competent is around. Luckily I almost never get sick though, so I can't remember the last time I had to worry about it.
depends on how much i can't get out of bed. usually will take 2 days off and then work the 3rd day at home because i just want to slept and get rid of this asap
It depends on the situation, flu infections come in different levels of severity. I usually go to work/ study if I feel that the symptoms are not severe
If I have a contagious disease like the flu, I stay home, rather than risking infecting my coworkers. Every company I've worked for has recommended the same thing.
It depends. But sometimes co-workers get mad because you can infect them and they are busy too. At my gym with the trainer they charge if you cancel but I went sick and told them and I was asked to leave and they would not charge me.

It depends on what kind of boss I have and what they're policy is about it.
Some wanted me to stay home and not go in and get other employees sick.
Other one's were cool about it and said nice get well wishes.
But if I woke up with a killer migraine headache, I wouldn't care what they said - I HAD to stay home. 🏡
If working a job that pays for me being there, I'm never sick even if I am.
Other people get sick? Not my problem. Hopefully they don't handle it well and I'll get promoted.
Like the wise words of this guy named D Bone Steak would say, "She didn't have herpes when I did her bro"

Same. You're not being a hero if you show up and infect 5 other people.
I never catch the flu, but if I did, I would stay home.

Luckily, I don't have to deal with that since I only work a summer job. I would stay home if I did.
I stay home of course. Not working when I'm sick and the company doesn't want me to come in and infect everyone else either.
I go anyway. I did not get much paid time iff at my last job so I went in sick.
In my country we have workers' rights and health insurance, we just stay home.
I would stay home till the flu is less contagious... do not want to make everyone sick and miserable.
It's not "brave" to still go in when you're infecting other people there. I would fire someone if they did that.
I'm the type with high immune system. But I don't mind sick days from work :P
Keep going in just long enough to give it to everyone in the office.
I have to go but won't go if i have a fever!
