Torn between which pet to get, what would you go with?

I have been wanting to get a new pet.

I’ve had 2 dogs and both of them have passed.

I’m torn between these two.

I had a Golden when I was a kid and he was awesome.

I lost my dog last year and couldn’t imagine getting another one so I got a cat. She’s so sweet, gentle, and independent highly recommend them. Also my place is cleaner and food is cheaper. Her purrs are also very soothing and we nap together.
