What was the very first thing you ever sold in your life?

Golf balls. We lived close to a golf course and my brother's would go golf ball hunting in the fields. They would bring them to me, I would wash them with a little bleach and water and set up a stand selling them lol I actually made good money! I still remember looking them up to see how much the brands were worth. Titleist Pro -vs-, Nike ones, black and gold and Callaway's were top dollar. Topflights were cheap! It was a lot of fun.

When I was 13, I sold a hand made portrait of a friend’s ex boyfriend for $5.00 which is around $16.00 in 2026 income.

When I was 14, I drafted an engineering design onto AutoCAD and was paid $100 for it.

When I was 16, I created an art project and sold it to my aunt for $5.00.

When I was 16, I would babysit the neighbour’s kids, for $15.00 an hour. That would be $40 an hour in 2026 dollars.

Probably my wife's only fans. When she started it she barely made $3000 in the first 6 months. After I took over with filming, promoting, editing, sound, lighting, scripts, themes, directing etc we were up to $250,000 in 6 months. Never tried selling anything until then.
