To a point. Effects of gravity, momentum, physics is very deterministic and so is mathematics. The fabric of the universe and how it operates does seem very deterministic even if we don't know or see all the mechanics at work in it yet. But the action of lifeforms on a non physical level is not. Our destiny within this universe is not predetermined. Even our lifespans. Physical things like how our cells breakdown causing aging is a defined effect but we can slow it down which has extended lifespans. But we can't change the process from it's determined course completely. And choices we make are not determined but the effects upon the physical world will follow logic. Such as how jumping from a building will break and kill you because of weight, gravity and impact. But people who survive will survive because of another predetermined thing such as angle, softer landing, wind or whatever. The death was a likely but not predetermined outcome. And the "miracle" of surviving still followed predetermined qualities of physical effects and not an opposing event against these predetermined markers.
I do.
As for humans specifically, I deem that the concept of "free will" is an illusion.
I like determinism. It makes sense. Any other system requires an infusion of mystical mumbo-jumbo. As long as you have determinism you have actions and consequences. Without determinism events could be completely random, like South Africa winning the World Cup.
That depends on your definition of "deterministic". I think the Cosmos is action / reaction. Is it exactly predictable and pre-ordained by some outside force? How would I know for certain, but I don't think so?

@Nikki1989 too abstract for me to get an Advil headache thinking about it.
@Nikki1989 ... still thinking about it, and still getting a headache, Nikki?
