Have people called you a “tough cookie,” and did you believe them?

A lot of people call me a tough cookie and use it as an excuse to fling overly rude/insensitive stuff my way. (Don’t cry for me… I fling back and typically aim well. But even tough cookies are sweet, which is something folks tend to forget. Taking occasion to put that reminder out there. 😉)

Well, when I had my knee surgery a long time ago, when people saw me in the bandages and when they saw me open the bandages, I got that comment pretty frequently. But I think that's just something people say when you're injured. Other than that, no, not really.
