Actually I did get called that by one old lady from some church event and it was actually quite reassuring.
Totally competent woman. Educated. Knew how to COOK!
Was sweet in and outside the church. Felt like she just knew she was elderly and had seen some years of earthly wisdom. Felt like a bit assertive but still kind.
I don’t know how but it just felt motherly and at the time she said it, she was asking me to help out I don't know like get some
chairs for whatever it was we were doing. Not only did it give me some good responsibility and camaraderie. I just felt like I was with family.
I somewhat missed it but I honestly like being called by my name more lol so it was just a nice experience.
I think anyone else who may have called me
that and I’d just be highly annoyed.
Also I have no recollection of her name, where she is today, or what church thing that even was. All I know is it was when I was younger and back in New York. I remember her traits and helping and the feeling of all of that. Was very nice. Aside from this no one ever has called me that and yeah- it just wouldn’t work, I don’t think 😂
i’ve never called anyone ‘sugar’ b4🤔🤔 to me that sounds like a very southern usa thing to say but maybe that’s just my stereotypes talking😅😅

Never been called sugar or called anyone sugar before. It isn't something I've come across in my lifetime so it may simply not be on my brain.
