Have you ever fallen asleep with your earbuds in? How often do you do this?

I went through a period immediately after my father passed away where for three years I suffered from chronic insomnia. And I was in such a state that I had forgotten that reading would have helped and I could still hear in my head my father's screams of pain and it coincided with the period in which I first started discovering yoga. So essentially I would practice yoga for a good two hours from 9 to 11 pm and then I would stick my earbuds in my ears and listen to music and that didn't really work to calm me so I then tried to listen to nature sounds mostly waterfalls or a river running for the entire night. I'd wake up in the morning to that sound. This was a good 6 years ago. Luckily I got through that phase and now I don't look at my phone from 9 to 9 the next day and earbuds are hidden in my draw so I never feel tempted to reach for them.

I do this a lot and deliberately when I travel by plane. I use the noise cancelling setting and play soothing background noises. It helps me sleep better when I'm flying.

first, because I don't even like to wear earbuds but mostly because stimulation like that just keeps me up and wired to this realm...

Not very often. If I'm listening to something before I go to sleep, I'll usually cut it off at a certain point or when I'm starting to doze off.

When you are very tired and you have your earbuds on you won't even know when you fall asleep

I don't have earbuds because i'm not into music when i sleep plus whenever i want to listen to music, i don't use headphones or earphones...
