Trending & News I would not say it is hard at this point... but it does take some time, 40 minutes at the very least and I am quite used to that
I no longer focus on falling asleep, I just relax and focus on rest... instead of trying to hall asleep, and that has been working very well for me for at least a decade,. lol
it's the one thing that worked for me... maybe works for you as well
I usually go to bed late, after midnight, so I'm already tired. I usually fall asleep within 5 minutes of my head hitting the pillow. Unfortunately, my body has some infernal (internal too!) clock that I always wake up after 5 hours of sleep or 6am, whichever comes first.
Thanks for the mho

Yes. Most of the time I struggle to sleep in my bed. I can't stop my head. I think like a machine. I am gonna die early because of this. My father was the same when I was a child. We were spent time together until the sun comes up. I eat healthily, exercise a lot drink herbal teas, don't use the phone, quit screen time before sleep, and read before bedtime but none of them doesn't work. When I read I keep thinking about the facts I just learned. If I listen to music I'm thinking clips or lyrics if I watch a movie I think about shoot angles and character development and I sleep about 3 or 4 hours max in a day. I don't know what to do. :(
It is really easy for me to sleep at night.
But I feel really heavy eyed in afternoon, so I take a nap up to 20 minute. Not more than that. But I need to tell you that it is not healthy. I mean not healthy at all. Try to beat it anyhow.
I also seem to have a bit of acidity problem. And I cannot sleep on these days. So whenever I feel like it, I just take my Kindle and start reading some novel I had purchased long ago.
Also if I feel like it, I just take an overview of the market condition and try to pick up the stocks for my watchlist.
But the next two days after this one night are a lot more difficult than my regular days.
Extremely! I could have worked a 9 hour shift on my feet, been to the gym, etc , etc and I still can't relax and switch off. Generally, I am comforted by gentle noise or someone talking to me or listening to a podcast or video until I fall asleep. It seems to be a soother.
Not unless something heavy is weighing on my mind.
Something else that used to keep me awake was when I was the guitarist and vocalist in a band. Songs would run through my head, trying to memorize lyrics and chords or work out guitar leads. It was a form of visualization but I couldn't turn it off.
Only occasionally. When lots on my mind. Write down racing thoughts and it allows you to sleep peacefully knowing they are written down to remind you when you wake.
Yes but I feel asleep when I am extremely tired. Mostly it is difficult for me to get tired actually.
If I need to at a set time which isn't like 3 AM in the morning. :-D I'm a hardcore night owl. I get far more energetic at night rather than during the day. Even if I wake up early in the morning after only sleeping a few hours, have a very hard day both mentally and physically, I still get hyper at night and want to sleep at like 3 AM.
Lately no, but in the past yes. I find that one thing that helps is listening to "sleep music" while lying down somewhere else other than the bed, and then eventually I get more and more sleepy and it's easy to go to the bed and fall asleep (if my current sleep schedule is such that it's not too early to fall asleep)
It's 4:30 in the morning and I should get up at 6:30
Hope that answers your question...
It really depends. Sometimes I slide right into sleep, but most often I toss and turn for a couple of hours first.
Sometimes but most of the time no.. but for the last past month it has been ho about you
Yup. Ever since September of 2021, I've been getting anywhere between 3 and 5 hours of sleep. Every month or so I'll need a day of just rest. Other than that, no "negative effects."
I'm feeling "OK" after sleeping a short time. Yes I have enough energy.
You have PM (since I don't want to get into specifics here).
Working 16 hours shifts 4 days a week now now. I fall asleep like a baby after my shift ends.
Yes, especially when you wake at 3am to your kid making weird moaning sounds while sleep walking. Like somethibg outta the shining or whatever.
Since I been off of Seroquel my sleeping patterns is not good I wake up early and my cousin hears me then her feet hit the floor than not much I can do but stay awake all I do is go to the bathroom and in the morning I feel agitated, restlessness
Not at all. If I'm having trouble sleeping then I ask God to help me fall asleep and I usually fall asleep within 5 to 7 minutes.
No, its almost like an involuntary response when I lay on my left side. Staying asleep is a different matter 😞
I'd say it is but it's usually because I'm watching videos on my phone.
No I don’t have difficulties unless certain things come up and I’m nervous about something
I've never had trouble falling asleep even as a baby
If I don't drug myself to sleep I don't sleep until around 60-72 hour mark.

When sleeping by myself almost always yeah, but when sleeping with someone it's super easy
Although I take a tablet to help with my depression, I struggle to fall asleep.
No. I wish sometimes I could play longer with my thoughts before falling asleep.
No, but admittedly, I take a sleeping pill every night. So... maybe I do struggle to sleep 🤣
It used to be difficult but not anymore (usually unless I’m really anxious)
It is not that hard for me to fall asleep but after I get up in the middle of the night to pee that is usually it for the night.
Sometimes especially if I sleep in too late on my days off.

I voted yeah but its not the case. Today I'm having trouble.
But usually I fall asleep in minutes, especially if it's been a long day at work
I usually fall asleep within a few minutes of my head hitting the pillow. My problem is I wake at 2-3 AM. and can't seem to get back to sleep.
I mean I do stay up too late sometimes but overall it’s not that hard
Depends on if I got stuff on my mind. Or if I don't wanna go to sleep only to wake up tomorrow and go back to work.
No, hardly ever. But I sometimes have trouble falling back to sleep if I wake up in the middle of the night.
depends. at some days i fall asleep within 10 mins, and other days, 2 hrs
If i really tired i catch my sleep , the moment i close my eyes otherwise i can stay awake untill 3 a. m or even 4 a. m
Sometimes especially have things on my mind. Or if I eat late.
I know my body... sleep only 4hrs. But if i wana force sleep, drink a little
As I get older, sleep becomes more of a challenge.

No, but it's hard to stat asleep
I can fall asleep within seconds
hahaha yes, but it's a pain in the ass... I struggle to stay awake when I'm tired and I get super wonky
Lol, I lie down and I'm out within the minute, die and get reborn 8 hours later. Waking me up in the middle is not gonna happen.
