+1 yIn my teens I found it very difficult to get to sleep, and suffered with massive insomnia, due to the tragic circumstances of my 13th birthday and the three months that followed. But I discovered I simple but effective method for getting to sleep which I still use to this day. Unfortunately I do still suffer with insomnia,, and find myself awake after 3hrs. But… if I occupy myself for three hours, I find that if I go back to bed I can sleep another 3hrs. So I do get 6hrs of sleep a night, just in shifts!

+1 yAs a child I dealt with a lot of mental issues (severe depression, anxiety, etc.) and that turned into insomnia.
It went away for about 3-5 years but stress due to several things in the past 6 months or so have brought it back. I only get about 3-6 hours of sleep and it’s starting to mess with my daily life.
I literally lie awake for hours with my mind refusing to just shut the Hell up.10 Reply
+1 yJust have some kids and imagine never having a full nights rest for at least 4 to 5 YEARS.

+1 yIf I haven’t fallen asleep within the first 20 minutes I know that I’ll get very little sleep. It happens occasionally and I don’t know when and why it happens but the only thing that works is to get out of bed and going back to bed a few minutes later

+1 yIf I wake up around 5 am to goto the bathroom, it's a lot harder to fall asleep if I have to wake up , take a shower, and get ready for school, in two hours it's easier just to go on my gone and chat. If I fall asleep ok. But yea it's to close to wake up time so that's why it's hard.

Sorry I meant just to go on my fone*
+1 yI never truly have a good night sleep as I have developed Obstructive sleep apnea due to breathing and heart issues when younger. This usually means that I wake up from the fact that I can’t breathe so it’s kind of like gasping for air as if you were underwater. So yes it’s difficult to have a good night rest.
00 ReplyOnly if I’m stressed about something or know I have something important the next day. Or I have know I work and have to be up super early. Last night for example I got to bed at 11pm. 2 hours past when I was supposed to go to bed and didn’t fall asleep until midnight. My alarm goes off at 5:45am so I had a crappy night last night
00 ReplyOnly when there are “too” much of an emotion surging on me (could be happy or sad or etc.) depending on the happenings of my life (my brain just can't stop thinking). If im neutral, i sleep when its time to sleep usually 11pm/12am.

+1 yMy sleep is mostly broken. Up early so I fall asleep early, can be up for 2- 3 hrs in the middle of the night. Good thing I don't have neighbors bc they would see me vacuuming the place in the early hours.
