I keep reading about people having the Right To Free Speech In America. 🇺🇸

This does not mean that we can say anything we want to and be protected.

If you would care to share another version of the First Amendment and add it in your opinion, please do so.

I thought I could find something with more words, but every search came up with this. I'm not sure that this is the entire First Amendment or not?

There's a PDF version that's 257 pages with examples of court cases, but at the top is this same little paragraph.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

The amendment, if strictly interpreted, says nothing about what people can and cannot say. It simply says that there can be no federal laws that restrict speech or religion. That's why individuals can restrict what others say. Private clubs, for example, or airlines that have dress codes against political t-shirts. At least that's what it says.

However, over the years, courts have ruled that the amendment covers much more than what it explicitly says, giving people the right to say virtually anything they want, with some limited restrictions. For example, you cannot threaten a government official.

Yes, the actual wording in the Bill of Rights is very broad and not specific.

You can say whatever you want as long as you don’t threaten, encourage violence, or defame anyone. Other than that people can be as much of an asshole or express anything they want and under the constitution it’s their given right.

After reading this it is pretty obvious that it is the liberals that violate the First Amendment a lot more than conservatives.

That’s why the Biden administration was going to the tech companies asking them to silence posts the government didn’t like. That’s to get around the first amendment.

No. The constitution only protects you from government repression. Gag is not government and therefore the right of free speech doesn't apply.
