Yep. Most office meetings have no agenda, no decision, no minutes. They are either one way flow of information or time set aside to build team camaraderie by all suffering through the same event. In managing staff, I've found people want them anyway for the connection even if they complain.

I very rarely if ever get bored because I keep myself entertained by thinking of other shit.
I can easily lose focus though during the conversation and be in my own world. There are times I am not really "there" and it happens quite frequently.

Yes, I used to have a boss that would have department head meetings that would go on for hours and accomplish nothing. I would fight to stay awake. One day after I very long one, once it was over I said "I can't feel my legs!" Everyone in the room laughed.
