How comfortable are you taking photographs of yourself and how comfortable are you when others take photographs of you? Love it or loathe it?

I love the idea of it, but I’m usually horrified by the results, lmfao. Makes me think of Adam Sandler in Big Daddy telling a lady that “I originally wanted to be a male model, but I’m not very good-looking, so it didn’t really work out.”🤣🤣🤣

Cameras usually do me pretty dirty, honestly. I have a nose for 3-D, and I don’t think it always translates in a photo. I also may just in fact not be that good-looking, lmfao. I had my run; I’ve made my peace with it😝

That said, I’m VERY MUCH a ham, so I’ll jump right in front of camera without hesitation. It’s just a 1-in-500 thing to get a usable pic. I think I’m also in poor control of my expressions sometimes; like when I try to make a goofy face, it’s not what I think it is and the photo comes out dumb.

I just got home from Nashville, Tennessee with a few buddies for a hockey tournament, and we went REAL hard partying. Took a ton of pics and actually ended up with a couple I don’t totally hate and I look semi-human, lmao. We won the gold medal in the tournament, so we took them out on the town to celebrate; I was biting on mine all night, haha. “THE CHAMPS ARE HERE!!!”😎🥇

But I REALLY botched the “Oh my god, someone put a cowboy hat on my head for the first time in my life; WHAT AM I EVEN DOING HERE?🙃” pose. I wasn’t prepared for a pic to be taken, it just happened, lmao. My hair was in Sideshow Bob mode, and with the hat on it just looks like I have tons of fly-aways🤦‍♂️ Absolutely brutal😖🫣🤣

I really gotta focus on having better head-tilt; I give myself a double-chin all the time and I’m not even fat, lmfao. I’d never make it in Gen Z’s instagram world😅🤣 Although they LOVED my energy in the bars with the cover band playing crowd-pleaser anthems. I get into party-starter mode, and not a soul in the building will be unaware that I’m there🥳 I’m way better at attracting live attention and getting people around me hyped. When the hair is loose and flying around, you can’t miss me. It’s like a 10-to-1 ratio of people giving me passing high-fives and hugs to people looking at me like I have ten heads, so I think I’ve still “got it.”😝 But the bad photo to good photo ratio is more like 500-to-1, sadly😞😂

it's just not my thing, has never been... there are however, hundreds, if not thousands of pics and video of me, two of my best friends are really into that... photographing and recording, lol

so, hanging around her... it became a second nature, lmao

I dont think I'm very photogenic. People always say I look better in person than in my photos. And only I take decent photos or videos of myself. So on top of not being a guy who takes a ton of photos all the time, which I usually end up regretting, I also don't really like being in photos.

People take pictures of me and I don't like it. I started wearing infrared glasses that block the camera in the summer and an infrared hoodie in the winter that blocks in the winter.
