What is the ideal temperature for you in your home?

Indoors my ideal range is 72–75°F (22–24°C). I like the room to be comfortably cool—not so cold that I need a blanket or extra layers. I'd probably keep it a little cooler at night because that's how I sleep best. That said, I think comfort is very much dependent on humidity and what you're doing—24°C can feel just right when you're relaxing, but a little warm if you're moving around. Based on the replies in this discussion, it seems that there is definitely no “perfect” temperature for everyone!

I like it about 68 F/20 C during the hot summer months to ensure good dehumidification as my house is solid masonry so no insulation in the outside walls. And about 71 F/21 C in the winter months

We don't have AC. We used a large swamp cooler (evaporative cooler) instead. So, we can't set the temperature, but it works really well when the weather is warm.
We do have a window AC unit in our bedroom for the nights when it is extraordinarily warm. I think it is set at 75°. But, normally, the big fan in an open window, combined with our ceiling fan and a small fan on my wife's bedside table, is sufficient.

In the winter, we set our heater thermostat at 63° at night. And if it is really chilly outside, we'll crank it up to 69 or 70 during the day.

I generally think around 70° is ideal.

In the warmer months where I keep the air conditioning on my system is on a cooling schedule where it’s lowers the temperature overnight into the morning & in afternoon the temperature goes up by a few degrees.

In the cooler or colder months where I run heat I keep the system between 70 & 74 degrees.

I keep my house at 80 or 81 because it's 95 or more outside. It's not chilly, but comfortable. Men like it cooler because they have more muscle than women, so it takes more cool to cool them down.

I like 75, hubby likes 65… so he puts up to 68… 🥲 then I get so cold I told him I’ll sleep in the car and turn it up to 80 😂… then he turns it up to 72. I have to wear socks and another layer. We try to compromise

Don't care because I have a heated jacket and inside that it is always a perfect temperature. It is winter in roaring forties by the way.

No, it's pretty much perfect. 27° Celsius is the temperature where the (clothed) human body doesn't need additional energy supply for keeping up its body temperature.
