Was this a “lost summer” for you or were you happy and productive?

For the second year in a row I did not do one single cool or fun thing for the whole summer. I did not go to the beach at all. I did not even bother to buy a beach sticker. I did not even have an ice cream cone.

I concentrated on recovering from surgery, selling my summer home, getting stuff done in my house and trying to lose weight and get back in shape.

Lol. I got the sticker but I'm not sure I should have. I only went a handful of times and never onto the beach itself.

@DishLady I spent $200 bucks on it last year and never used it.

God. I would never do that. Mine is under $100 because I always spring for it in February when it's the crazy thing to do and they're stuck with me having it for the year. Hah!

I have t buy a non resident sticker and they screw the out of towners. The beach is closed half the summer because of the piping plovers.

Not lost at all. We had a very very good summer.

We travelled for 6 weeks. Through our travel, I am able to find my next passion. I visited my friend whom I haven't seen for over 13 years. Also ran into another friend in Japan whom I haven't seen for 12 years.

We met an amazing family whom we became good friends. They inspired me to do my next job.

We enjoyed the scenery, the food, the people. We are healthy and feel rejuvenated.

Hubby and I are just resting up and getting ready for my next work year.

I was not productive but I wasn't trying to be, so it was not lost either. I caught up on some much needed relaxation time, so happy but not happy and productive.

Not productive, joyous or happy.

But I reached some high states of consciousness, learnt more about myself and how to fix my body. I learnt how to take care of myself and be closer to God. All will stand me in good stead into the long term. So I will take it.

Productive, and then we took a vacation to Alaska. I've got no complaints!

Definitely productive! Spent a lot of time working on fitness, picking up new skills, and staying busy with projects instead of letting it slip away.

I'm pretty happy with it, I spent most of my time on the lake.

It was an ordinary summer, like any other summer. I don't attach much importance to the seasons.
