Why can’t I ask my coworker to pay back the money I lent?

I feel shy to ask her for demanding strictly, ( she is a lady co worker).

It's just not right that some people don't just pay you back as soon as they can without you asking them for it.

They are trying to get away without paying you back.

I would just puff out my chest and look at them right in the eyes and say "When can I expect you to pay me back for the money that was only a loan to you"?

Thank you for the MHO 🙂🧡

You are most welcome friend ☺️

She wasn’t shy coming to you…
you can ask. And I hope she will give back. If not… don’t ever lent money again unless you tell them it will be a 2% fee… cheaper than leanding from the bank.

I also learned in life. I either say no … which 99.9% of the to not lend money to “friends”. If I ever do… it’s a gift.. I don’t expect the money to be returned. Now that is a small amount. Say less than $100 usd
Anything more… it will have to be a written legal contract with interest.

Thank you so much for your detailed and explained opinion
I hope i will learn by it in future

Your opinion is mho indeed

Of course you can ask and should. I might be best to be polite and give a notice period.

Women will abuse you by extracting money from especially if they think you like them.

I mean you can ask but nothing says "gimme my money" like a good beating with a baseball bat.

You can ask. Nothing is stopping you.

If they have the money to spend elsewhere, they have the money to pay you back Send a polite text or message to remind them so it doesn't linger forever

You can ask them. But you prefer being everyone's door mat and not having self-respect for yourself, so you had them the money you sit spineless in the corner and say nothing.

You don't need to ask for it back when a higher position opens up, ask her to recommend you for it if she says "I dont know if I can?" Remind her about the time you lent her back didn't ask for it back because you knew she was struggling at the time and felt bad for her.

You go up to her and ask for it back or you save it for later when you want to get a promotion.

That's why I never accepts from people at work because they will always try to get me to do something for them or hold it against.

But since she didn't pay you back yet, you can save it for later.

You have to stand up for yourself even if it feels stressful.

Only you can answer this question.

[wkhan_87]

Because I can't be harsh on someone.

[RachyRach]

You can ask. Be brave

[NathanDavis]
