Are internet friends ever truly real, or are they all fake and toxic?

Is there really any true friends? through out the years I have met several people but in the last year or so on I have met the most toxic and the most fake people on the gaming community. And mostly all this people are Hispanic people.

However, a while back I made a friendly contact online. The guy was looking for information about my hosting country. Meanwhile he moved over here - we have met in real life - and we turned out to be the ones we presented to be ''online''.

Most people are beautiful and neither fake nor toxic.

Sometimes people lack skills, experience and confidence in interpersonal relations and those features are more common in internet friends than IRL in my experience.

Most of all my online friends I don’t talk to anymore I had a few groups that I enjoyed talking to but now we all moved on. We met on discord of course so I met some interesting people on there. Glad I don’t use it anymore.
