In regard to having friends that are solely online, the main thing is you need to be careful; a lot of social media is not intended to cultivate friendships. It used to be, and I barely imagine what it used to be with the invention of smartphones. If anything, a lot of online friendships are short-term. I'm not saying the long-term is impossible, but the need for something greater than a few affirmations, like hanging out irl, will most likely become more important. It also depends on the intention of both people when they're onscreen.

sometime yes sometime no it depends, you can have real good friend on internet for sure but usually most are more casual type of friend which is not necessarily a bad things either

I have met users on this site, established a friendly online relationship, then met in person and became even better friends. And I know of at least two couples who met on this site, eventually married, and are still married.

They could be I made a few but at the same time there’s a few I wish I never met so you gotta be careful. I believe we all want contact for other people. Just be careful. There are a lot of weirdos out there.
