Define, "Scratch". Because in the last five years i've lost my home, my job, most my friends, even my health for a time being. I consider that pretty close to "from scratch". But i roll with the punches. And it's not as bleak as it sounds. Financially i'm actually in a better place than most my age. I just have a lot of things still up in the air and as i get those things settled down i'll have a better idea of where i am.

Actually what has sustained me through it is read a blurb online that said virtually everyone starts over in life at some point. some do it at 30, some at 40, some at 50. And when you realize that you don't feel so alone or cursed. I think if i had to start over completely i'd just tap out of society.
