What feelings and impressions do autumn and winter evoke in you?

Autumn makes me feel calm and at peace. There’s something about it that gives me this sense of contentment and tranquility. Like everything is slowing down a little. Winter, on the other hand, can feel a bit depressing to me. I find it quite gloomy and heavy sometimes.

@pearlshelledfairy Winter makes me feel warm and cosy ☃️❄️ and a good hot beverage and warm room and I do like the weaker sun and snow if i get up to the mountains lol 🏔️

For autumn or fall 🍂, I like the changing leaves, the change in the air and knowing my birthday is near 🎂 🍰 🎁 and that Easter isn't far away 🐰

It's still nice out until either mid Nov. or at least the first snowfall.
When I was a kid, I went for a snoop around in the attic and found a huge stack of dad's 78's in one of the back rooms and started going through them to see what was there. As it was fall or winter so, to this day, every so often, at least in winter, I get a rather strong urge to play them or any other 78's from his era, big band, Texas swing, pop, etc..

Autumn is my happiest time of the year when the leaves are changing and before the cold comes. I have an obsession with Japanese maples that plays into it. I'm also a little kid that likes to swing my feet through the dried out leaves that accumulate on the ground.

Winter you can keep.
