How much work does it take to get/have a happy and fulfilling life?

I think that everyone has his/her own secret recipe for that. Mine is relatively modest. I have never wanted to be in the limelight or to be famous or even rich.

My own desire is to have a steady job and income. Nothing fancy. Just enough to pay for the rent of an apartment. I was never the one wanting to own a mansion. I grew up in one and saw the kind of work that is necessary to keep it in good condition and I am not ready and willing to invest that much of my time.

Having a steady income, a hobby that does not cost an arm and a leg, a 2 room, 1 bathroom apartment and a small backyard is enough for me. My health is my asset and I don't really need much more.

Finally, I am not interested in being in a relationship, so that settles a big chunk of potential issues and expenses.

How do one measure that?

not much for me because it’s a mindset. I was happy and fulfilled at that moment of my life…when poor and broke and in poverty.

I am still happy and fulfilled now that I am very successful.
one day if I become poor and broke again… I can and will still live in a positive mindset then rebuild myself… I have done so and know how to do it again…

now that I have learned from my past mistakes I am careful to not get to that level.
Now I want to help others to find gratitude and fulfillment within themselves.

Living well is less about heavy lifting and more about routine alignment. You do what has to be done. People tend to make life harder than what it actually is.

I don't understand what you mean. I do what has to be done, paying bills, cleaning etc.. etc.. But it doesn't fulfill me or make me happy.
