I live in Sisak, Croatia, and I use public transport (bus mostly, sometimes taxi/cab).

LOL, my primary daily driver has a range of 400 miles in city driving and 640 on the highway. And the low fuel light comes on with about 3 gallons left. Or 75 to 120 miles. That’s pretty conservative. I don’t stress over it.

I do keep my tank filled up in winter because our swings above and below freezing can create condensation in the fuel tank. It’s best to keep all the air pushed out.

Right after I got married my husband drove my car and left the tank below 1/4. He’ll never do it again.

I'm the one on the left. Gotta make sure that I have a lot of gas in case of an emergency - I don't want to have to stop for gas.⛽

Dunno, I never let my car go below a quarter. This comes from a very expensive mistake I made with a Chevy blazer I owned, where, for some reason, Chevy decided to use the fuel to cool the pump, and if you let it go below a quarter too often it can burn the pump out.

There's an argument for never letting the fuel get too low. My car indicates the exact miles I can go before i have to fill up. Normally I look to fill up when I have less than 100 miles in the tank. Lowest I've been was 17 miles when the filler cap seized.

I rarely let my car go below half way... I like to have options. Plus lately if i pass some cheap gas I tanker.
