Do you think society has the right idea of femininity and masculinity?

I think it's a bit off, especially for masculinity. A certain portion of men (especially nowadays with the influence of andrew tate, clavicular, & the like) think that being masculine is being devoid of any remote shred of kindness and being violent, cruel, domineering, to everyone and everything. And that you need to have very unrealistic body proportions or be in the top 1% of earners to have any worth. Other guys's conception of masculinity means working themselves to death to provide for a family, not really having any close relationships because they think it's 'gay', getting bad health problems or dying because they thought going to doctor is pussy shit etc. I don't want men to wear dresses and act like girls, but I think that some aspects of masculinity are outdated and not healthy for men. Women's roles and what it means to be a women, has changed a lot but not masculinity.

For women I think a lot of feminity is basically looking pretty, young, and being immaculate appearance wise. I think that determines mostly if you're 'feminine' or not. It's a bit of problem, when most women are average (and most attractive ones are just cute), not 18-22/25/27/29yo (whatever the hottest age range is), don't have a flawless lingerie model body, and can't always be polished & dolled up with no flaws. Or else there is still some expectations that women have to be more 'passive', act mature earlier, and there are some double standards (this goes also for men in reverse) that are pretty unfair, that are remniscent of when women had a different place in society. But I think women don't really have that much unfair expectations in western society personality wise nowadays, unlike men.

Not really. I think society still has way too many rigid ideas about what women and men “should” be like. Being a woman or a man shouldn’t come with a fixed personality, interests or way of behaving
