Gender is NOT a social construct.

The origins of word sex just meant a roughly 50:50 division and as there are roughly 50:50 males and females it gradually came to mean the division between males and females.

Gender derives from Latin genus being birth, family or nation and every one will be familiar with the use in biology as something above a species. It factually is. Gender is what you present yourself as, masculine, feminine, neither or both. It's like a scale women on one end and men on the other. Not every woman likes pink, dresses and wants to be a housewife mother just like not every man is all macho into sports and cars and the colour blue.

There's also gametes and hormones which can have variations. Many many people didn't know they were intersex until their mid 20s or later. Gender roles are a social construct. But, frankly, I think the Trans thing flies in the face of feminism a tiny bit, as what exactly are Trans women after if not "to be treated like women," when the whole push behind feminism is equal treatment.

Or, put another way, feminism is saying we should eliminate the part of gender that is a social construct and the Trans thing is saying we should disregard the part of gender that isn't a social construct. These don't necessarily need to be in opposition to each other but it is difficult to accomplish them both at the same time.

They weren’t suspicious there and trusted that science when from the get go there was more than enough reasons to not trust it. Ulterior motives like making a profit being one of them. However they won’t trust the long standing, objectively and scientifically provable science regarding gender. So science is only to be trusted if someone stroked their fear button and if it fits their political agenda.

You’re partly right. There was no official LGBTQ+ community, but there certainly were gay people of every flavor. As far as homosexuality goes, both that and transgenderism are mentioned in the Bible in the Old Testament. That part was written before Christ. Neither is a new thing.
