Life is your oyster, all you have to do is conquer it. This is something my father used to always say to me when he'd come into my room to say good night. He'd find me reading a good book he approved of and we'd sit for a good while having a healthy debate about the contents and what my thoughts were. And everytime he'd hold the book motioning to it and say this to me. It's never left my memory and I always have it there whenever my certainties begin to sway.
