What's a quote or two that has stuck with you and helped to motivate you? Or perhaps resonates with you because it was told to you by someone of importance or perhaps you read it from somewhere? What was it that you were going through?

Some of my favorites are:

"Today I will do what others won't, so tomorrow I can do what others can't" - Jerry Rice (a reminder to keep pushing forward in life)

"Take only memories, leave only footprints" - Chief Seattle (a quote I live by when traveling)

Another one is:
“Money will carry everyone but not everyone can carry money”

For me, I learned the hard way that to survive and eventually thrive, you can't hope or pray, you need to work for it.
Once you work for it, God will start to open doors 😃

Thanks for that reminder! Yes, I see it a handful of times, many wait around for things to happen without putting any effort to lead for success and move forward to create opportunities. Then you have those that have windows open for them, but they're glued to starring at the door and wanting it to open instead of a window. Your quote reminded me of the little boy's joke from the movie, "The Pursuit of Happiness" 🙂 - was such a quick moment, but a powerful one. I pasted the clip below.
