You just are.. to be cool means that you do not care what others think of you... that is the foundational principle of cool.

I think you first have to beleive you're a cool person before others begin to consider you as such.

I think so long as you attract and keep good people in your life, you’re pretty cool. 😎

There’s a bit that goes into that of course, but much of it is just being a solid individual… working hard to find yourself in favorable situations, having the social-awareness to navigate them, being trustworthy, sharing laughs, and reinforcing and being good to the people around you.

When people value your opinions, you know that you have some social cred that bares influence on others. That is cool.
