Be yourself. Forget what others think if they don't want to hangout with you it's their loss. Find like minded people to spend your time with. I am blunt and outspoken and unapologetic for it. I know that only certain people can handle me and that's fine. Remember just because someone doesn't like you doesn't mean there is anything wrong with you. Some people just mesh better than others.
Firstly its not cool to conform to what others deem as cool. Think of introverted and extroverted as energy. You can still be very social and still be an introvert, all it means is that social gatherings exaust you and as for extroverted its where you gain more energy being around people.
I am a 72-year-old man, let me know if you find a cure... I am running out of time here... Sometimes you just need to accept "who you are" and build from there... only conversations I can have are online, I think because I need time to gather my thoughts and form an opinion... many people just "forge ahead" full steam and make an Ass of themselves...
You’re cool just the way you are. If you want to socialise more just take it one step at a time. Attend events etc. Talk to people and initiate conversations one step at a time. It really helps if you have an extroverted social butterfly friend too.
