So, my dad works/has worked with a lot of young people at his job. He’s cool, so most of the young workers like him and chat with him. One of the younger guys who worked with my dad left the job he was working with my dad at and started a new job. It turns out I started to work at that same new job. After some small conversation and after he put some small details together he figured out that he knew my dad and that I was his daughter. The guy is handsome. He’s around the same age as me so I’ve developed a crush. He hugs me every time he sees me but the things is he calls me “Fam” short for “Family” because he considers himself, in a way, locked in with my dad. So I figured me having a crush on him wouldn’t go past being just that considering he probably doesn’t see me in that way. Long story short we were talking after work today and I asked him did he still sell weed drinks. I remember my dad telling me that he was the guy who sold me and him weed drinks a while back when he was still working with him and apparently he remembered too because his response was “Yea I do. I remember when your dad bought a few drinks from me and he told me how much you liked it.” With a wide smile on his face and then I told him that I didn’t really dabble with weed anymore but my dad told me to ask him about so it so that he could buy some more. Instead of him asking for my dads number, he at first told me to take his number but then he said he would take mines instead which he did. He told me he would text me but he didn’t/hasn’t but maybe I’m deluding myself because of my crush and thinking too much into it. It probably doesn’t mean anything more than “If you want some weed drinks, I’ll let you know when I have some available.” It kind of sucks because I know the crush isn’t going away anytime soon but I try not to be too awkward about it.

I don’t think it’s bad at all. It’s a fortunate coincidence.
If he’s the kind of guy that you know your dad would approve of, then it’s a win-win.
There are a lot of times when parents want to pair their sons and daughters with people they like that their sons and daughters don’t like.
And plenty of examples when sons and daughters want to marry someone that their parents don’t necessarily like or click with.
So the fact that you have a crush on a guy that your dad already likes can be seen as a good thing.
You don’t know if it’s mutual though, so you’ll need to gather more clues to see where he stands with you.
No, why would that be bad?
Well may have put that wrong lol not bad but awkward if the crush ever got me anywhere.
*I like if we were to ever start being friendlier with one another lol it’ll be cool because my dad already likes him and he likes my dad but awkward none the less.
