How should I stop having crush on this guy and move on?

I have a crush on this guy and I’m 99% sure he has a crush on someone else. I already confessed my feelings which now I regret. My feelings got the best out of me. I was wondering how some people just stop having crushes? The person I have crush on has multiple good qualities which isn’t really common in guys at my school. I could usually distant my feelings away if that guy had multiple bad quality, but I can’t really find one!! He’s also a year older than me so there’s now less chance now, so what. Guess I have to find a way to stop having crush on him right? I have been trying to for months now but still can’t.

Hey, you took a chance expressing how you felt, so never regret doing that. How else were you suppose to find out if he felt the same?
Just keep yourself busy and look for other guys. And don't spend months on one guy.

You'll have to rough it out. I'm in the same situation myself. Eventually it'll become easier, but it could take a lot of time.. (sorry)
