Should I move on from this crush?

i'm pretty sure a guy likes me, because he literally always looks at me and looks away when i look at him and many other nonverbal signs, and some of my friends said that he probably likes me. however he used to try and get my attention before by doing weird things, but i've noticed he seems to be avoiding me, and now it's at the point where i walk into a room and he leaves. i don't really understand what to do. we are not friends and don't have any social groups in common, but he's a very outgoing person with everyone but me and it sucks that he doesn't even wanna talk to me or become friends at least. fyi he's acted like he likes me for like 5-6 months now, but i've liked him for about 3 months. he's never really approached me, we only had like one conversation because i went up to him when he was talking to my professor and joined their conversation.

i don't know what to do, i have no idea how to approach him and i want him to approach me, especially since he's so much more social and popular than i am. however, since he's clearly been avoiding me, should i just move on? i need advice!
