What does it really mean when someone says you are "cool"?

I've been called awesome or cool before but I don't really know what it actually means when someone says I'm "cool". Does it mean I'm a good guy that doesn't get mad easily or?

I think the person who says is perceives the 'cool' individual to be any of the below:
- a popular and well liked person
- very laid back/chilled individual
- very stylish/trendy
- creative and more of an individual (makes the trends before anyone else does)
- a person who doesn't care about what others think and does what they believe is right (hero to the underdogs)

that's about as much as I could think of.

It pretty much means that you have a great personality, people enjoy being around you.

It means you're a cool guy. Could be interesting or relaxed, down to earth. Something like that.
