Like what does this mean in "guy code"?

See here is why I'm asking this question, I think this guy is really cute and we have talked a few times before (I sorta like him) and he knows my best friend and her boyfriend.

So I guess a few days ago he just came up to my best friend and her boyfriend when they were at school and talked about how he met me and that he thought I was pretty cool.

So is that a good thing?
