Same experiences brought good and bad.
In my case, as it is for most men, the most consequential event, good or bad, is what happens when you meet the love of your life, and most of the time, she's going to say 'No', because if she's the love of your life, then there are many other guys chasing her, too. I met the love in the mid 90's and was devastated when she wanted to keep shopping. I'm married now, to wonderful lady who loves me, but you never really get over the one you know you were supposed to be with.
Bad—physical abuse, rape and attempted murder.
Good—marriage to a wonderful man. I was starting to think they didn't exist.
Sorry to hear about your bad experience.
Of course having my son changed me me for the good.
The bad experiences are too numerous to count.
Bad: My father's passing.
Good: moving countries.
Bad life experience? Court (civil matters).
Good life experience? My dream job (more than once, potentially, if my hopes and prayers soon)
Bad getting married to a girl that was a narcissist, Good - divorcing her crazy ass
Even bad experiences can chabge your life for good.
