There are many reasons for someone to call you crazy. A lot of different flavors of it, you know? I guess mine is physical recklessness and an explosive temper, which you mostly just see from me in hockey, and not so much in everyday life. I’m actually very cautious and chill, usually.
But I’ve played in three hockey leagues since I started like 4-ish years ago, and independently, the people in all three leagues refer to me as “Crazy Steve”; like that’s what they all just arrived at, lmfao. So I’m thinking maybe I’m crazier than I think I am, which is probably standard for crazies🤪😂
Just today I got a text from a new teammate who met a guy I knew when I first started playing. This guy is a former Navy SEAL, and he stayed on until his 40s as a SEAL instructor. He apparently has similar thoughts…

That one made me laugh😝 New high score?😂

How about you? Are you a wild & crazy guy/gal in some respect?

two times I've been asked if I was crazy the most...
that one time back in 2021, when Texas' power grid almost failed entirely... with temps anywhere from 20 to 5°F and I went out in shorts to get something from the store, lol... this might be way more usual for Canadians but not so much so in Texas... it almost doomed the whole state power grid
the second time was back during college days... in which some dumbass literally told a dear friend of mine to get in his car, he just told her to do it... as we went out of college and I just told him that she was not going to go anywhere with him... and at first, he looked at me as if I were not crazy, but stupid.. he had a smug expression on his face as he turned around to the corner of the street and, yeah... that, those were two SUV's full of his buddies, he chuckled, ignored me... and told her again, to get in his car and that they would be going for a ride, and as he walked towards her... I got on his face and said it again, that she was not going to go anywhere with him... and THAT's when he did look at me like "you gotta be crazy..."
no need for details about what kind of "buddies" or fine gentlemen they were... I'll just say that for the next two months or so... I kept being asked if I was crazy... to just go around walking like that...
oh well... the definition about what "crazy" is around here... it's a little bit of a different level... lol
People use the word 'crazy' all the time anymore and very loosely too.
I'm sure you've heard guys say "my wife is crazy" or "my girlfriend is crazy" or was crazy if they broke up.
They use bi-polar the same way.
They used to say retard but I think people put a stop to that because it's very mean to the disabled people.
I don't know you may have to accept that you’re officially Crazy Steve… instead of white Steve lol.
I usually only get called crazy when I’ve put up with people’s bullshit for too long… and finally stop being nice. Then suddenly I’m “crazy.”
eing
It is impossible to be crazy compared to what is happening in Trump's America.
Crazy? A lot of other things but not crazy. Maybe they meant did I hear the song by Patsy Cline 😅😆
When I was a lot younger some called me Crazyman because of some of the crazy stunts I did. There were many who were surprised when I lived to see 20.
Most people have no idea how crazy I am. I guess that means I'm good at masking.
by the way anyone who plays hockey (or ice hockey as we call it in England) is crazy by default.
He probably meant crazy like trying to put yourself into a wheelchair. You know you’re going to need your back in 20 years, right?
Oh absolutely 🔑🫶🫡
I hope they don't!
No, not at all.
