Why do men comment on a women's body unprovoked? since I was in middle school & high school guys would always tease me for being skinny unprovoked.
Now I'm a young adult some will even point out the fact that I don't have a ton of ass (mind you I'm not flat) and even just make comments about me being skinny like they have to point that out and I'm just like confused. Even when it's not an insult, they still bring it up in like a flirty way, but like why. Its unprovoked by the way I don't talk ab

I'm assuming you mean he sees one and decide to say how pretty or sexy she is.
When you go to a museum and look at a piece of art, do you wait for the art to permit you to comment on how it looks to you or makes you feel?
Considering how much time and effort a woman usually take/puts into it every day to look the way she does, there's a LOT of art going into that so, why WOULDN'T you comment on it and show her that you appreciate her skill, great effort and what she did to look that good? Would you PREFER that you go to all that trouble and have NOBODY notice or comment on it? Quite often, women ARE like great works of art and there's no harm in looking at or appreciating them that way, no matter how crass or backward it may sound. The fact is, she looks great and he commented on that. Him whistling or saying something crude (or, something you TAKE as crude) is just something on him and it's something guys have been doing for CENTURIES and nothing you say or do is gonna ever change that. Just take it as the compliment it was intended to be.
Are you getting pissed at him for noticing how well you did on your looks or are you pissed at yourself for going to that trouble to look that way?
Some people simply don’t know boundaries and feel they have the right to comment on some things. Either ignore them or put them in their place.
It usually stems from a sense of entitlement, poor social boundaries and having no filter. Men are obviously the worst specimens for this.
No social filters. These people are conditioned mostly by internet behavior.
Boys will be boys i guess. But I've heard some pretty awful stuff from women directed at me when I was younger. With boys it' seems to bd about voicing their sexual desires, with women its about tearing other women down.
Sounds like you have the ideal body that suits my preference perfectly.
Honestly we don't know, we just have the temptation to do so.
