If you became/were rich, or rich younger, would you help your family?

Like, my grandparents (my mom’s side) were terrible with money, they kept asking my mom and even my dad for money. So much so that my parents unfortunately cut ties with them.

Also they were forced by my mom’s brothers (Aka my uncles) to give them money to buy d***gs and stuff.

If i become successful back then, as a kid, our family wouldn’t have fallen apart cuz it’s only me and my dad now. I’m all alone, no friends, no family. Nobody

I’d help my family. If they were going to do stupid shit with the money, I’d pay their water/electric bill or go down to the bank and pay their mortgage / give the landlord the rent. You can’t give money to gamblers, drug addicts, or people that don’t have enough sense to use it wisely. It’s like giving a gun to a monkey.

My family fell apart because they kept asking for money and we had to cut ties. My mom lost her parents and I lost one side of my grandparents while I already lost my dad’s side years before.

I would help some, other people have helped me. By this I mean my immediate family, 3rd cousins who never spoke to me until I came into a fortune no, they are on their own.
