I definitely do! With those oversized eyes, tiny scale patterns, and little snouts, they look remarkably like miniature living dinosaurs.

Their most famous cute feature, though, is the sound they make. Right after hatching, baby crocs make a distinct high-pitched chirp or "piping" noise—which sounds remarkably like a laser gun firing in an 80s arcade game—to call out to their mother.

That said, nature has a funny way of packaging sharp little teeth in very appealing wrappers. They definitely start out adorable, even if they grow into absolute apex predators pretty quickly.

WC Fields: They're nice to look at, but I wouldn't want to own one.
