Should I be mad at boyfriend for getting drunk?

Ok me and my boyfriend have been together for 4 months and today he decides to go to a party and get drunk. I always tell him everything but he hardly tells me anything. So he told me he had to go somewhere, didn't talk to me for bout 3hrs. He finally text me and says "hey babe" I kinda knew something was up Because he didn't reply for like an hour and he never does that. I had to find out from his friend that he was drunk so I tried texting him and calling him. Now he is ignorning me Because he doesn't want to tell me he is drunk or that I had to find out from his friend.

My question is should I be mad at him for getting drunk and not telling me? Or just be like whatever with it? Please Help!

I would get mad, but that's because there are already some precedents set in my relationship. He already knows very well that I always want him to be honest with me, and I don't want him to ever feel like he has to hide anything. Has this sort of thing happened before with your boyfriend? Maybe he was afraid you would be angry so he just didn't tell you. Just ask him why he felt the need to hide what he was doing.. because it makes people look suspicious when they hide things. If this is a constant problem, then obviously my response is different.

He knows to be honest with me. He's told me before that he was drinking. I don't mind what he does I would just like to know. This really hasn't happened a lot its just today his best friend starting texting me that they got drunk and I don't like finding out from other people what my boyfriend was up to..and he knows that to

Then I would confront him and ask him why he was hiding it from you. Tell him it's not the drinking that bothers you (I assume it's not), it's just that you had no idea where he was or what he was doing. See how he responds, apologetically or defensively.

No its not the drinking. Its just the way I had to find out and then him ignoring me. Ya ill try talking to him face to face. Thanks!

I mean he's not your husband he's your boyfriend of 4 months, so he doesn't really have to tell you what he's doing every second of the day...And you're not in charge of him either so he can get drunk if he wants to lol. I would probably be upset if he was ignoring me and my texts and whatnot but not because he was drinking and having some fun with his friends...

Depends. He sounds like he can't be comfortable being completely straight with you about stuff because you give him a lot of grief when he does. So he has to go underground. And, he's a drinker.

I mean I don't have a problem with him drinking but he should have told me I shouldn't be finding out from the grape vine. If I was drunk I would have told him.
