Are amazon packages discreet?

I've ordered books, workout dvds and a gymboss interval timer from Amazon but it's been a while.

Are the packages discreet or does the white tag say what the product is? I want to order something private but I obviously don't want my parents to find out haha

the packages only indicate that it is from amazon.com. However certain retailers through amazon list their name on the box as well.

Why did you get a gymboss timer? I'm just curious because I was going to order one for myself until I downloaded a free app for my phone that does everything a gymboss timer does. Saves some money and less clutter on your person at the gym.

Because it's more of a convenience when I'm exercising.

That and the timers I used on my ipod kept crashing my ipod. I think it's a result of a bad ipod(cause I've had problems w/it since I got it), but since it was a gift & my stepdad gets his feelings hurt easily, I decided not to replace it.

But it's a good convenience.

If the item is shipped by Amazon and not a third party, the shipping label is nondescript.

If it's shipped by a third party and the item is... "sensitive" in nature, you can go to their seller profile and they most likely will have a blurb about discreet packaging.

I think you're safe just as long as your parents don't open your packages.

Make sure the company's name isn't something like "ThingsIDon'tWantMyParentsToFindOut, Inc." or "HopeNoOneOpensThisBox, Inc.". ;)

It depends on who's sending it. If its a third company party than they may have the logo on it. If its amazon then no. But I doubt many sellers would describe the package on the front of it especially if its an item some people may want to keep secretive.

Yes, they are unmarked. They usually have a company name or something but they don't tell what the product is or give any indication. I have ordered things from Amazon that I didn't want my neighbors seeing in my mailbox and it was ok.

all of them are pretty nondescript, showing your name, and that they were shipped from amazon. Hopefully you don't share the same name with your mother, as I do with my father. Shit gets real weird then.

Tell your parents that because the orders were shipped from different Amazon warehouses that they're arriving in different shipments. I've had this happen to me for real numerous times when placing an order for multiple things, so I don't see why you couldn't use it as a perfectly believable excuse.
