I can't drive because I have epilepsy and I'm afraid I'll pass out and injure someone. My girlfriend drives me everywhere, is this normal, because I feel as the male I should be the one driving her around.

I don't think there are 'normal' gender roles for driving. Unless you're basing it off what the media shows you through movies, tv, typical 'guy' behavior.

You have a legit reason to not be able to drive, I see nothing wrong with her driving. It's very nice of her actually to do so for you.

There is a reason you don't drive. Its scary as hell driving when you feel the possibility of a seizure. I have don't it. There is nothing wrong with her driving and you shouldn't let it make you feel like less of a man. She loves you and doesn't mind driving ^^ Don't over think it!

I have epilepsy too,so I'm just curious as to why you'd be so worried. Have you had a seizure recently or started a medication?

With meds I can go one or even 2 months with out seizuring but some times I get periods of a few in one week.

Then why don't you up the meds or change to a new one? Do you have really bad ones?

While I understand that most men prefer to drive, myself included, your safety and the safety of your girlfriend takes first place over everything else. Let her drive, assuming she isn't some awful driver that would make it more dangerous than having you drive, even with your condition.
