Worried about boyfriend travelling alone?

My boyfriend is going on a tour of Europe for a couple of weeks...by himself. He's doing an organized tour group thing, going to a bunch of different countries. I'm happy that he gets to travel, but I'm kind of worried about what might happen while he's there. He's never cheated on me, never lied, never given me any reason to think he would...but it's just my own paranoia. How do I stop freaking out about this?

The same situation happened to me a few weeks ago. You can check my questions here. I was freaked out, but try to calm down when talking with him. Lucky that he tried every way to contact me to make me feel better and secured. I believe you should trust him, and let him do whatever he wants, and he can never leave you because you give him space and freedom when he needs it.

Did you talk to him about it at all before he left? How long was he gone, and how often did you talk?

Yes, I couldn't afford it. He could have visited some other countries which I can go too, but he didn't. He just wanted to go places he like. And I was super angry. He said I couldn't blame him, it was not his fault that I can't go. I was super upset. We haven't met a month. I tried to calm down by myself, lived my own life. If you let this go, he will come back to you soon. He contacted me everyday.

Keep in frequent contact with him. Let him know that he's someone you really care a lot about. If you stay in touch frequently, he knows you care and is less likely to feel tempted to leave you for some random girl. Your behavior can help influence his. Remember that, and the fact he has never given you reason to doubt him before.

Contact is obviously limited, he'll be on the other side of the world. The best we can do is Facebook.

Well there are lets say 'scumbags' and people you should be able to tell generally care about you, if you are sure he cares about you and is honest with you should just trust him. If you want to stop freaking out; hangout with friends, find something to occupy yourself for weeks.

What kind of tour group is it? A churchy one would reduce the temptations I presume.

If not, is there any way you can get on the trip too? Much of Europe is a much looser place sexually.

It's just a general tour, I don't know. I believe it's one with a fairly older target audience, so he won't likely be with very many people around our age.

I would go if I could, but I can't afford it and I have to work.

I think you just have to trust him and be secure in your relationship. If he has never given you a reason to believe he would heat, you should trust him.

I think your worries are justified. People suck and they never have your best interests in mind. I don't blame you at all, BUT if he was going to cheat, he can do that right here, right now. Nothing you can really do about it, is there?

Not really, but I don't want the paranoia and worry to destroy my relationship with him :(
