GUYS: What does it mean when a guy says you look different?

I bumped into a guy friend I Haven't seen for 2 months, I've always had a crush on him but he has never liked me. He said I looked different.

Is that a good or bad thing? I felt nervous. I've been going to the gym for 2 months now and no-one has really noticed. Did he?

Guys come at me with what this meant.

Really depends on the context of the situation and the guys life... For example you come up and say hi and he's like what is your name again? You're like I'm Anonymous Ann don't you remember me? Oh yeah you look different... (I don't really remember you but ok)... Was he in a relationship before when you wanted him and he didn't want you. Maybe now he's not with anyone and all the sudden you look different (Well I'm not seeing anyone maybe I can entertain the idea of dating/sleeping with her now). Maybe the last time he say you, you weren't taking care of yourself and now you are and you look different (kind of good)... Who knows... It could mean a lot of things. You need to pay attention to more then 3 words. What other signals where you getting, what was his behavior like, tone of his voice, body language, etc. Whatever answer you get will be hypothetical. =|

I know you are looking for a guys answer, but thought id put in my two bits. Usually people say it when youve done something different to yourself, maybe lost weight,wearing different clothes, different makeup, etc.

But I hope you get some answers from the guys!

you're over thinking it. It could be good, bad, or neither but it's certainly not something to get hung up about.
