Why do some women talk in that sexy high pitched voice?

Haha, I think I do this sometimes. I have a naturally high optimum pitch. It's just normally to speak higher and I'm a soprano, and it's uncomfortable to go very low.

But if you're talking about high pitch as in HyunA from her version of Psy's Gangnam Style?

Well, that slips out sometimes when I'm embarrassed, nervous, shy, or excited. I don't mean to do it, but it happens when I'm surrounded by guys who keep flirting or picking on me, when I'm with my boyfriend, if someone tickles me, etc. And occasionally, I even catch myself doing it on purpose (it's like I subconsciously do it) because I know some guys (my boyfriend included) think that it's really cute. I even sneeze that way. That ones totally unintentional, haha, but when I sneeze, people make fun of me because they say I sound like a mouse.

I don't really have a high pitched voice, but I think my voice gets a bit higher and girlie when I'm talking to the guy I'm interested in, I don't try and change my voice it just happens. Buts till not high pitched really just higher than my usual dull non high voice.

You like that kind of voice? I find that kind of voice to be extremely annoying. I'd rather put ear plugs in my ear and try and read their lips to figure out what they say than listen to them talk in that high pitched tone.

I don't know about you, but I think a woman's voice can be damn sexy either high or low.

Just how we are born, we use a different part of our voice box to talk.

Guys use the lower part, where they basically speak from bottom of their throat, wereas we speak from our voice box way above that, above the adams apple.

For the most part, our voice isn't a conscious thing, it jsut is and is how we're born.

It's just their voice, what can they do?! They can't use a low pitch.

However,I know some women who heighten their voice pitch intentionally to look cute lol.
