Girls who force a high pitched voice?

I was just wondering if girls talk with a higher pitched voice to someone they like or think is attractive. Is it on purpose or unintentional? Is it just because of nervousness, just trying to friendly? Happy? Why do you girls do this?

Well, I do it to be friendly. My regular tone doesn't Sound too inviting so its usually a conscious thing for me but for a lot of girls, its not something they are aware of. It depends on the person really. Of you are an intimidating guy, it might just be plain old nervousness otherwise, its probably to sound cute

One of my friends does this and it drives me crazy. It's annoying. But she does it because she thinks its a cute girlie coice

Two things

1. It's around guys that I really like.

2. Being friendly, happy

Like the two girls previously stated.

I don't even notice until someone points it out. - But If I was around girls who do it subconsciously, chances are I'll take notice on that.

Most guys voices tend to get a bit lower as well.

Some girls do it unintentionally, but if a girl likes you then she would try to be cute by talking in a higher pitched voice. It's a conscious thought, girl want you to think she is attractive.

I've never changed my voice intentionally ever. I don't know if I've ever done it unintentionally before...

They do it but I think it might be subconsciously. My voice isn't that high but I notice it gets higher around guys I like.
