Yes she can. Is it the best thing? I don’t think so. Women supposedly tend to know who they want to marry. Men on the other hand, takes some time. I think if you two have been together for a while but he hasn’t proposed there’s obviously a reason. You don’t want to force him into something because he thinks he may lose you. In those situations he may overlook the real reason why he hasn’t asked you for marriage in fear of losing you. Which later on down the road the reason why he was hesitant to get married may bed up being the reason for getting divorced. I hope that makes sense. To me there’s a big reason there why he hasn’t proposed marriage. Find out what that reason is. Maybe he doesn’t feel worthy yet maybe he wants to make sure he can provide for a family financially? There’s a million possibilities.

Of course a woman CAN propose, and some do, but should you? How long have you been dating? Have you discussed marriage? Is he a traditional guy who would think that it is his responsibility to propose?

Women get the whole wedding and even the ceremony itself at least more attention is one them then us. So let me have my moment and propose.

She can. However, I think a lot of women (such as myself) really don't want to propose. A proposal is a way for our man to show how much he loves and wants us. I guess I'm more traditional this way, but it just seems so much more romantic for the guy to propose to you

Also, if you've got to be the one to propose to him then there's probably a major problem going on in terms of his commitment.
