Don't ask for girls advice on this issue...they are very bias. Waiting 5-7 days is brilliant. There's about 25 reasons why. Many women have been brain washed into thinking that if a guy waits more than 3 days...he's just a player.Waiting to call makes you less predictable, and more mysterious. She's going to think...I thought he liked me? Why isn't he calling? She will think about you constantly...to the point she is no longer sure of herself any longer...and when she least expects it..you will call. If she has high interest level, a good attitude, and is not a structured girl, then she will be happy to hear from you. Bonus...if she happens to ask what took you so long...bingo.! girls with low interest level won't ask. If she is ticked off that it took you so long (as most on this forum would be)...she will hang up...or cuss you out. That's great! Keeps you from wasting time and money on undeserving chicks. When she accepts a date from you...treat her like a lady. My main point is, if the girl has high interest level in you before you call, but refuses a date because you didn't call for 5 days...then she needs a CAT scan. Only wait 5-7 days if you meet and get the number in person. If you meet the girl online and get her number...you need to call with in 24 hours.

There are tons of girls who don't like to say no...or don't like confrontation because some moron gets ticked off that she won't give him her number. Lol yo f what these girls are talking about. Women dont know what they want but they know what they dont want. They gave that man there number because they wanted him. They hate that they created the game and we have counter strategies. No high value man will call as soon as they say he should. Girls wanna play the games with out us playing the games right back. Let me give you a example I just got this girls number I was talking to her and I mentioned her car how her friend was bragging for her and she was wanting to go from Camaro to Corvette because she seen one other car of hers in our city. She almost went with the z01 which is way more expensive and I said yep I'm the same way it is because you wanna have what others can't afford to have AMD she said yes that is the exact reason. She doesn't know that she just gave me the game to manipulate her with game. She is saying I like what is scars what other women want but can't have because it makes her feel more valuable if she can get someone or something that others want but can't afford. Being so good at psychology and being a pro poker player gives me a huge edge.
I'll put it this way. If you are the girl who gives her number to any Tom, Dick, or Harry...then disregard this. I assume most girls give their number only to those guys who really catch their attention. I would say the girls interest level would have to be at least 70-80%. Nobody likes waiting...however...a guy or a girl would both have to be insane to forget, or not accept a date from the opposite gender because they called 5 days later. Think about it...you girls who say you would forget him...are saying you would forget a guy...and not accept a date from a guy whom you gave your personal number too. Craziness!

Sorry. I agree with the other women. No way! If he waited 5 days to a whole week to phone me...I won't not be receptive at all. By day 4 I'm loosing interested and certain that if he is comfortable spending a whole week doing other things and not thinking about ways to include me/take me out again, then he is probably to busy for me.

Generally speaking, when I give a guy number, it's because I'm into him, know him aka an actual friend of mine, I know that he is going to call soon. If I gave my number to a guy I hit on or who hit on me and I'd only met him once or twice and he waited a week to call especially if he asked for my number in the first place, I'd assume that he wasn't interested. Plenty of fish in the sea. And I prefer the once who actually call ... the sooner the better in my opinion. Shows that he is keen.
ugh. I hate that. I am the type of girl who will forget about you after five days, so don't wait that long. If show that I am into you, text me the next day and say great talking to you last night or whatever. If I wait a few days and nothing I will write you off as not being into me and move on to the next guy

I wouldn't like that. I expect a text the night itself or a day later. If he calls, I'd rather have him call me one or two days later than almost a week. If he can't call me within the week, that's a sign he's not that into me.
but what if he does call you. it would be clear he's into you.
That's kinda why I'd give someone my number. You know, to actually call me. Not a sign he's clearly into me, but a sign that there might be possible interest.

Look if I'm feelin someone and I have their number I call or text to show my interest right away. I don't play games. If he wants to drag it out and wait around for awhile then his loss. If I'm really interested in a guy I'm not gonna be scared away if he contacts me right away I would prob respect him more. My point is arguing is this. First..I agree...I don't like to wait to hear back from a girl I whom I left a message...no one likes waiting. The higher interest I have in a guy the more likely my feelings are gonna be hurt if he waits a long time to contact me and the more likely I am to turn him down because I would feel like his interest in me isn't very high and he's just bored and lookin for something to do. It's the girls that accept your date after making them wait for awhile that you should be concerned about because they are the ones who are just bored and don't have very many other options. Everything in moderation, 5-7 is too long but 0-2 is too short. Yes, it does show he's interested if he contacts within 0-2 days and it also shows he's not busy and therefore probably doesn't have a life and he's desperate. I've met very few girls who find desperation attractive and that's what it is likely to come off as if you contact same day or next day. Like it or not everyone wants at least a little bit of challenge and the sooner you call the less of a challenge you are and the faster they'll lose interest. Oh, they may still go out with you and even have sex with you but odds are they'll lose interest quickly. Too much of a challenge is also a problem so can't wait too long either. I say 3-4 days is ideal, just make sure you have a solid plan in mind none of the nonsense where you try to get her to decide the plans don't ask for any input at all. Pick the day, plan the day, ask for the day.

Well...I got a number from this chick at a wedding. The next day my grandma whom I was very close to died. I was not in the mood to call for a week. When I called her...i didn't explain what happened...instead I asked her out...she was happy to hear from me...and she agreed to the date. Seems like you girls jump to conclusions way too early...before you ever know the guy.

I'm sorry...but if you truly HAD high IL in a guy...it would not be possible to forget him in 5 or so days.(unless you're bi polar). Hundreds of questions a day are posted on here from women who are head over heals about a guy who hasn't called and its been 4-5 days. They tell me they can't think about anything else, but him...and they are panicking as to what's going on. The reason I do this is because a massive amount of women (not on here) say it actually raises their IL.
