Where do the 35-45 year old men hang out?

Can't seem to find this age group anywhere! gyms, pool halls, hiking trails, beach, coffee shops, under rocks...you're not there. where ya singles at?

I'd say most of them around here play golf with their friends from work on the weekends, go out on the boat to sail, fish, or scuba dive, go to other friends houses to drink and watch football games (or other sports they are into) at night time, go to home depot to buy stuff to fix up their home or work on some project they are into, go to the auto parts store to pick up something to work on their car, and stuff like that. Aside from that sort of thing, most time is spent working... After a while most guys get tired of the party life style and stop going out to clubs and start doing things they enjoy. It could be looking at Stratocasters at guitar center, or hunting at an antique shop, jogging along the ocean, etc. Everyone has their own interests.

Oh, we still live at our mothers' homes in her basement. We never go out. Except to hide under rocks. Ya must have been looking under the wrong rocks then.

LOL just kidding of course, but I'm gonna guess you have bad luck. I go to the gym often, occasionally a pool hall, since I'm in vegas, casinos, I go on hiking trails, trying to drag my wife who's in your age range with me. Go to the lake, since no beaches lol. Visit bookstores. No coffee shops, gotta keep my flat tummy lol. I don't go for much in bars and rarely clubs, and only because I can pass for much younger lol.

Or they are so tired from working they just go home and hang out by themselves?

I'm all out of questions for right now (3) in 24 hours...but I would ask the question in general of how much time do people just spend at home versus being out and about.

outside of work, not too much, maybe every couple nights we'll go out for a few hours, whether it's trying a new casino, watching a movie, or a fun activity like miniature golf or bowling. Weekends go to parks. Or like a couple months ago took my stepdaughter to an indoor range and let her fire a machine gun.

Where I live, I see a lot of good looking guys out and about during the summer time but in the winter months I don't know where they go or what they do.

Try professional organizations, golf clubs, www.meetup.com, and your traditional dating websites. There are men everywhere you look for them, unless you're on college campuses. If worse comes ot worse, you can move to the Silicon Valley, there are lots of single geeks there in that age range.
