I'm on my period and my boyfriend refuses to come over and see me cuz he's a bit of an ass, anyone got any cute stories of how their boyfriends treat them on their period or any stories of how you treat a girl?

the first time I told my boyfriend I was on my period, I called it "bad timing" and he freaked out thinking something worse happened and I had to explain it. it was all very embarrassing, I hid under a sheet haha

he told me he still wanted to see me so I ended up partying with him and some of his friends. well, we all got pretty drunk and when everything was finally over he told he wanted me to stay the night with him which I was okay with but when I went to lay down on his bed he pulled me back up and dressed me up in his batman t shirt and these pillsbury doughboy pants because he wanted me to be "comfortable". and I remember arguing and telling him it was alright but he insisted. he told me I was his princess, that I was perfect, and all these sweet things, which he only probably said because he was drunk too but it didn't make the night any less perfect

he made me feel like a queen and he held me that entire night and I ended up giving the pajamas back but they became the go to outfit whenever I slept over and now the pants are mine and it's been a few months but I'm never giving them back :)

My ex boyfriend was really understanding when i got my period. I am one of those girls who always gets really bad cramps and one time we were out shopping and i doubled over cause i was in so much pain. he just picked me up in a middle of the shopping center found a chair and put me on his lap and rubbed my stomach and cuddled me until i felt ok again. When we got home he carried me up to bed and we just watched movies all night.

So far, with girlfriends, I've had... constant potential for mood swings and rage (period or not), or haven't noticed a difference (either they happened to have periods when I wasn't near them, say, they lived far away), or she didn't act all that differently, and kept it really private.

I'd probably be nice to my lady anyway, but it wouldn't be a ticket to be nasty or cruel to me. I've told girls that they had absolutely no right to talk to me the way they did; doesn't matter if they were on a period or not - though that has the wrong connotation - I do care, and I'm very kind about it, and try to be sympathetic about it - but I mean that it's not free ticket for bad behavior.

I just try to be extra considerate. Give her massages (or pay for her to get massage), cook for her, pay for a mani/pedi, and generally just help her relax. I know mood swings are to be expected so I just try to be patient and don't let anything get to me or make her feel like she is "crazy"

It's hard for most guys to understand what you are going through especially at your age so be patient with us 'cause I'm sure at that age I wasn't very attentive
