Doting boyfriend?

My boyfriend is a few years older than me, and he thinks that everything I do and everything about me is cute. My boobs grew slightly bigger (he's the one that noticed this and pointed it out to me), and he thought that was cute, too, for some reason. He also is always buying me things even if I don't ask for them, and feeding me, holding my glass or cup while I drink from it, cuddling me constantly, petting my head, if I'm cold, he'll grab a blanket and make sure I'm all bundled up, and if it's raining and we're going out and I don't have a coat or umbrella, he'll do things like grab his raincoat and a hat and put them on me himself, he'll tickle me a lot, and things like that. It's really sweet, and he treats me very well, and I love that, but I wonder if he does this because he loves me, or if he sees me as a kid. Do most guys do these sorts of things with their girlfriends? I'm just wondering, because my boyfriend is the first boyfriend I've ever had.

He sounds like he's 'babying' you...especially with the tickling you part. I would never want my boyfriend to call my boobs 'cute' that's not something to say especially because you're a woman now not a little girl. He sounds like he really wants to take care of you...just a bit too much. A guy needs to let his girl do some things on her own, she is her own person with her own brain. I personally could not really stand the constant 'cute' comments, because every woman wants to feel sexy not always cute. Not saying cute is a bad thing but that's something you say to a friend/kid. Other than that, he sounds like a keeper. =)

Well, he does call me sexy and gorgeous and beautiful, too. ^^; But yeah, sometimes he does make me feel like he's treating me like a kid.

I know how you feel, I always get stuck in the 'awww you're such a cute person' category myself. It's going to get old really fast...if he respects you as a mature woman. He needs to learn more grown up terms.

I am the same way with my girlfriend and she loves it, but I get worried that I am being to Clingy.

She says I'm not and we are so happy together and I even call her "My Princess" and give her everything I can.

The whole point is some guys (A very small group) think that it is our job to treat our girl like she is a queen or princess and to make her feel special and it makes us feel good about us and the relationship and over all they last longer and are more important then a "one night stand"

but ure boyfriend is golden, don't lose him..

now you have to me aware of one thing, how long have you teo been together, because this might be bcuz everything is new and exiting, the eventually he gets bored, so make sure you do the same to him, make him feel like a king, like he makes you feel like a queen ;)

I really want us to be together forever. I think he does to, because he always brags about me to his friends and says that I'm perfect and that he's not willing to let go of me. He's also planning on taking me to meet his family this year, and they live across the country from us. He's also said a few things throughout our relationship that implies he really wants a future with me.

Most guys will do the majority of these things for any girl they date not necessarily love. It is a little bit over the top though if you ask me. Isn't there a point with you where its just too much pampering? He sounds like a good guy and if it doesn't get on your nerves at all stick with him cause he will stick with you as long as you let him.
