If a guy says you are angelic, what does that mean?

This guy I've been sort of seeing told me "you are so angelic, like oh my gosh, I feel I'll hurt you" what does he mean by that...I'm confused because it makes him very hesitant with me...

Plenty of guys like to believe that they're beasts dealing with a lovely deer. They like to think their girl is so angelic, vulnerable so they'd feel so dominant and masculine.

Also, plenty of guys like to think their girls are so inexperienced so they would teach them everything. They like saying "Don't worry, I'll teach you". They like the fact that you are so fragile, naive and whatnot even if they know it's not true.

It's some sort of mental and sexual stimulation according to them. As I said, it makes them feel strong, masculine and dominant. "You are so angelic/sweet/naive. I have to take care dealing with my sweety because I am so strong."

This is not to say that all men think like that. I'm anti-generalizing person. ;)

He really likes you, he thinks you're very attractive (and that's part of the "angel" comment), and he respects and admires your sweetness and niceness. He's not so sure about himself, though. He feels like maybe he's not good enough for you, or that you really deserve better than him.
